second Tuesday of each month. The
locations vary each month. This gives variety
to your otherwise hectic daily schedule.

Camp Hertko Hollow:
Camp Hertko Hollow is located near Boone,
Iowa. Funds we raise are used to send
diabetic kids to summer camp. This helps
the kids to adjust to diabetes mentally and
emotionally while still young!

Cornbelt Diabetes Connection
The Cornbelt Diabetes Connection (CDC) is
the non-profit arm of the Cornbelt Federation.
CDC provides diabetes health care and
education to communities and individuals
who do not have adequate access to such
care. The Mobile Nursing Unit has performed
over 27,000 diabetes screenings for the
general public in more than 1,000 urban and
rural areas.
